SOME MORE OF THE LESSER KNOWN TEMPLES..

 DODDAGADIGANAHALLI..TWIN TEMPLES..JODI LINGA.. this is a small village 14 kms southeast of the taluk centre Krishnarajapet and is significant because of the Hoysala record and
the Jodi Linga temple.

                                      

This is a perfect structure of the Hoysala Vishnuvardhana reign.

ESHWARAHALLI ..BUCHESHWARA TEMPLE..this is 5 kms from the well known Belavadi Veeranarayana Temple..near Halebeedu.

Its a well maintained  temple..but for the COLOURING..

HALE BELAGOLA..Hale-belagola or Old town Belagola.7 kms from Sravanabelagola...The Parsvanatha Basadi  located here was built in 1094 A.D. by  Prince Ereyanga father of Vishnuvardhana.There is an inscription about Eriyanga. It greatly glorifies the prince and his teacher Guru Gopal, and mentions the prince's generosity of donating the twelve villages of Belagola and Rachanahalli for religious cause.
